From neighborhood food drives to worldwide relief missions, explore initiatives, insights, and real-life stories that prove generosity can transform communities and lives.
RSV UK has been serving the community since 2007, with a commitment to carrying out charitable activities for the welfare of humanity, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, race, religion or economic status.
One of our largest and most impactful areas of work is healthcare.
Healthcare is one of the most significant expenses faced by individuals and families, and sadly, many people struggle to afford essential medical treatment. RSV UK is committed to ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible, affordable and available to those who need it most.
Over the years, RSV UK has also provided financial assistance to families affected by natural disasters and emergencies, including the devastating floods in Rander in 2006 and, more recently, the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout these challenges, our foremost priority has remained the wellbeing and dignity of individuals and families in need.
Our Hospital – Growing to Meet the Community’s Needs
Alhamdulillah, our healthcare services continue to grow and develop. We have embarked on a major expansion project, which is currently in its foundational phase. With the blessings of Allah, the hospital continues to make steady progress, and the number of patients using our services has increased year after year.
Today, we are proud to serve approximately 20,000 patients every year, supported by a team of more than 20 doctors and consultants.
This continued growth demonstrates the increasing need for affordable and accessible healthcare within the community.
Our achievements to date include significant improvements in access to medical services, with a steady increase in the number of patients receiving treatment each year. We remain committed to providing responsive, compassionate and high-quality healthcare tailored to the needs of the communities we serve.
Most importantly, we strive to keep our services reasonably priced, so that people from all socioeconomic backgrounds can receive the medical care they need.

Your Support Can Make a Difference
The continued growth of our healthcare services brings with it significant financial responsibilities. Maintaining medical facilities, purchasing equipment, supporting healthcare professionals and keeping treatment affordable all require substantial resources.
This is where your support can make a real and lasting difference.
Every donation, large or small, helps us continue providing affordable healthcare to people who may otherwise struggle to access the treatment they need. Your generosity can help a patient receive essential treatment, support a family during a difficult time and contribute towards the continued development of our hospital.
We therefore humbly appeal to all our donors, supporters and well-wishers to donate generously and support this vital cause.
Your contribution can help us reach more people, improve our facilities and ensure that quality healthcare remains accessible to those who need it most.
May Allah accept your generosity, bless you and your families, and reward you abundantly for supporting this noble cause. Ameen.

Several new projects in Burma have been identified and are currently being explored and assessed. Full details and costings will be shared with the community ahead of next Ramadan.

For the first time, we focused on supporting vulnerable individuals and families within the UK who are struggling to make ends meet. Through your generosity and kindness, food packages were provided to help those in need break their fast after a long day of fasting during Ramadan.

For the first time, we established direct contact with members of our community in Burma and, through our representatives on the ground, were able to personally distribute donations to eligible recipients.

As in previous years, our community has responded generously to the Hospital Appeal. The support we receive extends beyond the UK, with donations also coming from the USA, India, Thailand, Singapore, and other parts of the world. This year, we raised £4,745 locally towards this vital cause.

In 2008, the RSVP community set up a medical diagnostics clinic in Rander, India to provide the poor and needy with free medical consultations, basic laboratory tests and subsidised medication. The centre has gone from strength to strength and in the last 8 years has helped over 20,000 people, including many women and children. The centre has now transformed into a hospital.
